I've been playing doubles for two years...thought the rules would have been clarified by now?
This is the kind of thing where everyone assumes they know what the rules for Cali are, and people tend not to discuss their differences of opinion unless there is a controversy (which doesn't happen too often).

I assumed I knew the rules because I can read the ones rev kev listed. That is all.

Historically speaking, since 2008 I've witnessed/heard uncertainty during rounds whether or not the second shot MUST be used... also, because of varied memories/opinions I know it was one of the (many) items discussed at the March DFOK Meeting ( http://www.discgolfscene.com/post/312698/dfok-meeting-notes-thursday-march-27th )... but then it must have got overlooked & never finalized... Until RevKev posted the clarification this week. Either way I'm just glad it's now set & documented (thank you RevKev).
