It has been suggested that we throw a tournament at the end of August or beginning of September. The tournament that was suggested was the Trilogy Challenge. It looks like this may cost around $700 to throw. I haven't added it up exactly in a while but we should be around the $200 range for club funds that could go directly to that cost. Which leads us to where we are going to come up with roughly $500 for the rest. Keep in mind if we sell out the spots we would make all that money back. About a month ago I tried to contact the park director to get an idea of what the best date would be so we're not stepping on anyone's toes as we have a tendency to do so as the course happens to run near every single other sport out there. We've had issues in the past where we've been told we could have a tournament and after we started we had YMCA's flag football pictures being taken in the fairway of 12. I haven't heard anything back. I'd like to go back to him with a more solid date. Who's intersted? What dates work?

I'm looking at the page for the Trilogy Challenge, and they're showing event dates from May 31 to August 22, so we should probably try to fall within that range. Looking at the list of events here, I see that the third weekend in August is pretty light. There's a women's C-tier n ... more
