Thought I'd clear the air on a few things. I posted the rules from the PDGA on the definition of a lie and what constitutes a legal throw from a stance. I've heard some complaints of people offsetting their "point of contact" by up to 3 feet left or right of their lie and would like to make it known that it is considered a stance violation and can result in a warning which means you would have to rethrow without a penalty. The warning does not have to be seconded by another player. Future violations after a warning must be seconded by another player (which is why we must play in groups of no less than 3), and result in a re-throw and a penalty stroke.
