It is with a great deal of interest as I read the bashing katherine biel a columnist for the city weekly gave the disc golf community as a whole in her hits and misses column on page 8 of todays city weekly. It would appear that she is much more comfortable accepting typical stereotypes of disc golfers rather then get off her lazy ass and do some research into the athleticism and quality and caliber of todays players. I find it humorous that she would take this approach given the liberal stance of this second rate pseudo news paper, but alas that is my opinion. If upon reading her supposed article any of you that would be interested in expressing a different opinion I'm sure that she and her editors would be glad to hear from us

Thanks Richard, a disc golf buddy of ours is also a writer and we have been talking about an article highlighting disc golf and the prospects for a new course as well. When he saw this, he made sure he mentioned to me that this went through without anyone talking to him first. He went to the editors himself voicing his displeasure about the characterization of disc golf. I agree, we may be able to turn this into something favorable for the community. I'll let you know when I discuss a potential piece in the near future if you would like to be part of it. Thanks for the update!
I meant to say writer for City Weekly!
