I'd like to highlight this special league as part of the mission of DGLA and the statewide point series of spread the word and encourage players to get out and experience this great sport, while growing and improving the experience - DGLA would like to highlight this league and their mission to help grow the number of women enjoying disc golf.

PacWest Powder Puff Ladies Series
http://www.discgolfscene.com/leagues/PacWest_Powder_Puff_Ladies_Series_2014

"PacWest Disc Golf is hosting a Powder Puff Series once a month on a Thursday night at 5:30pm for ladies only. PacWest Powder Puff Series is a casual atmosphere to get together with other local women that play disc golf and to introduce new women to the sport of disc golf.

The goal of the PacWest Powder Puff Series is simple, HAVE FUN, PROMOTE WOMEN'S DISC GOLF AND TEACH MORE WOMEN TO PLAY DISC GOLF. No fee to play YES ITS FREE! Friendly to all ages and all levels of play, prizes for Closest to the Pin (CTP) and a Spirit Award will be given at each event, so anyone can win!! Invite your friends for a fun round of Powder Puff Disc Golf even if they have never played before! "

So if your in the area or know a woman who is or who will be visiting the area make sure they know about this special league that meets once a month from April through Sept.

Thanks Jason "Rooster" Bruster's for providing this league with such a great mission. Salute!

The OrCPS is FREE but we ask that you show your support by also becoming a Disc Golf League Association (DGLA) Member - it's also FREE for now. Lock in your lifetime membership number now. Being a Free member does make a difference. When we look for sponsors it's our overall numbers that make a big difference. Let's show the world that this sport is growing, that people care about the sport, how it is played and that we need more courses and we need to take care of these courses.

You can become a DGLA member by going to the Disc Golf League Association website for more info or to register:
http://www.discgolfleagueassociation.org/Membership_/membership_.html

As a player in the OrCPS-S you represent the core Oregon Disc Golf players and you can really help make this sport better. Help pass along the Disc Golf etiquette that makes rounds fun and fair for all in a positive and constructive manner. Encourage new players and pass along some tips to help others improve. Bring a friend out and expose them to leagues. If you pack it in, pack it out - or at least make sure it ends up in a trash can. Keeping the courses clean is critical to keeping our courses.
We have naturally beautiful courses let's help keep them that way.

Enjoy the warmer rounds - Peace
