I just ran into a city worker out here and learned that when they build the walking path around the park they are taking out all the baskets for the disc golf course...wtf! bummer!

Boland, Flynn, and R aintree were all completed before the bottom fell out of the economy in 2008 and 2009. Raintree needed to be redesigned at that time but many of the park employees were let go during the downturn and park funds and projects were slashed or put on hold. The economy has adjusted so we are all seeing more activities being executed. The walking path is currently being redesigned to be installed at Firefighters. Dates and final design have not yet been released but the path is planned.
Are you a Troy resident? If yes, speak with your city council. If no your legal action is to stand there and take it like every other non-Troy resident.
im w you doug! even stepped in a heap in the middle of the damn parking lot saturday... looked like a horse left it. I'm tired of the damn dogs running around there off leash.
Seriously, after speaking with the new Recreational Supervisor of my Troy Parks 2 weeks ago, he was very educated in our efforts and was seeking to learn more about what and how we do things, he said that yes, there are plans for a path but none in the foreseeable future. Seriously, after speaking with the new Recreational Supervisor of my Troy Parks 2 weeks ago, he was very educated in our efforts and was seeking to learn more about what and how we do things, he said that yes, there are plans for a path but none in the foreseeable future. As for the last 2 or 3 mods I wanted to see done to the course along with a few upgrades, we did not get that far. I did tell him I expect to remove a couple of older Mach baskets and replace them with new Chainstars. If we all keep up keeping up our course, the better off our club is. This is our home course and we should try to keep it clean and green as much as possible. The dog walkers, well, not all of them are bad just like not all of us are good. Some even helped pay for the plowing this past winter right before our Ice Bowl. We are fortunate to have made a few friends in the park offices and walking dogs. We should continue to be the best ambassadors we can for our sport, our club, and our course. Just like Jay started to April Fools everyone, our area would suffer drastically if we ever lost Firefighters. The city like the course as much as we do!
is this your april fools joke jay?i hope so.
no its true, waiting to hear from john to see what he can find out
damn super ****ty

I hope it's just like Bry's and that backwards walking gentleman is there as well.
At least on a walking path you don't have to worry about stepping in camouflaged piles of **** from all of those irresponsible lazy-ass dog walkers.
