Wanted to thank Slippery Rock University, Discraft, Innova, the Pittsburgh Flying Disc Society, Ricky Normandeau and especially the 49 players who came out to the March 15 Throwdown at Slippery Rock Disc Golf Links. We gathered some good scoring data on the layout, raised some money for the installation of the SRU course, and had Good Times doing it.
Thanks to Camp Kon-O-Kwee for hosting our after-golf dinner Hoedown and Envisioning 2015 Pro Worlds meetings, Derek Hastings for the Pittsburgh premiere of his disc golf documentary "Chains," and Curtis DJ Cool for the AV equipment. Finally, thanks to ALLiN who brought baskets to complete the courses we played at SRU and at Camp Kon-O-Kwee.
The good news for those who couldn't make the Throwdown/Hoedown is that there are some of the limited edition SRU discs available to benefit the Slippery Rock course: CFR Roc3, CryZtal Challengers, and Z-Cranks. Get them before they are gone.
