Here we go a look into this year's schedule! I like to post it closer to the beginning of the year, but lots of speed bums this year. Buckhorn is still accessable by 4 wheel drive, making sure this April will not look like last year's snowy mess, and we are looking at new charity for our doubles beneft. FCDGA’s 2014 Event Schedule
Leagues:
• Friday Night Handicap League @ Edora. Runs from April-September 5pm Spring and Fall. 6pm Summer. $1 dollar entry & $1 optional Ace pool. Fun prizes every week. Weekly pay outs, no series.
• Sunday Gaggle 10am @ Edora. No cost, just a smile and a disc is needed! New to the sport? The Sunday Gaggle is what you’ve been looking for. It is a great way to meet other disc golfers with a love of the game. Casual outing, no league director needed.
Tournament & Events:
• May 10th: Free Disc outing/Clinic. Grand Opening of Edora. 10am-1pm.
• June 21: 2nd Annual Buckhorn Classic. Not sanctioned this year due to flooding last year. 10am
• July 19: FDGA’s Summer Shoot Out. @Buckhorn. Winner takes all in each division. $20 entry, 10am. Over $300 dollars to the Advanced Am winner last year!
• Aug 23rd: Chamber II Rounds @ Wellington. TBA
• Sept 13th 10am Edora. Free Beginners Clinic. @ Edora 10am-12pm.
• Sept 27: FCDGA’s 6th Annual Doubles Benefit, $25 per player. Players Packs: Breakfast, Lunch, and a Disc. TBA
Fort Collins Disc Golf Association is a donation and volunteer based club. All events are donation based. All donations go back to the players, courses, community outreach, course proposals and charity. The growth of Fort Collins Disc Golf needs you! The more volunteers we have the more we can give back to this wonderful sport and community. Peace, Love, and Disc Golf!
