Ok, the park said it was a no go, they just dont have the equipment to travel the course or manpower to get months of snowfall caught up for us by sunday which is understandable and atleast the effort was made to solve the problem, however i did discuss with him about in the future having the park possibly leave us buckets of salt and shovels at each tee pad in the fall so we ourselves will have the means to keep them clean ourselves and not have to drag a shovel and 50lb bag of salt around the entire course...theres gonna be almost a 100 people playing this tournament, a few so far have offered to volunteer to get the tees clean but the way it sounds it will take an effort from more than just 2-3 people if we want to still play it at stoney....step up disc golfers! Pay it forward to those that kept tees at other courses clean for you to play on and enjoy instead of the same people sweating to do it over and over
Key word here being "months" of snow pack. I was out there yday and its gonna take a massive effort to get down to those boxes. Best bet I think would be to play from pads carved out on top of the snow pack or move the whole thing over to FF which is way more playable. Walking down stonys fairway is a major workout!
what about riverbends I played there yesterday and wasn't that bad
I agree with Moreno and Jeff. Both of those courses are playable and the tee pads are almost already all cleared off. Waking down Stonys fairways is a MAJOR workout. A executive decision must be made soon.
How soon do you think Nate?
Becky played Stony solo. That's all I'm sayin' ...
cuz she's a trooper
It is not up to me Johnny Mac. I'm just trying to play some golf.
