Local Media to Cover Sunday's DFOK League Event!

Dig out your favorite disc golf gear & clothing!
The Manhattan Mercury (newspaper) is scheduled to be in attendance at our usual Sunday League event this weekend, Feb. 16th at Fairmont Park.
They will be attending our DFOK League to do some background work in anticipation of the upcoming Fairmont Ribbon Cutting Ceremony & Ice Bowl event. There will be one reporter on-site to conduct some player interviews & get a feel for our organization. They are also sending a photographer to capture some images of our sport.
An opportunity like this, to promote disc golf, does not come up very often in our community. Plus a couple good articles in the local newspaper could go a long way to shape future projects too! With that in mind, let's do our best to have a large turnout, get there a little early, follow all the park rules (just as usual), and last but not least be ready to share your story with them as great ambassadors for the sport.
Until then, start thinking of all the positive experiences you've had playing disc golf. Think of examples of how it has changed your life... I know it has... be ready to share those stories with them.
