Hey Vancouver Disc Golfers:

Firefly Disc Golf is excited to announce the beginning of the Stadium Putting League. This will be an 8 week league starting Wednesday, February 19th and concluding on April 9th, 2014. It will be held from 7:30 pm to 9 pm at "The Stadium" in Vancouver, Washington. (5305 NE 121st Avenue)

Each week's challenge will be unique but the principle will be the same. Practice time and explanation of the week's format followed by competitive rounds on that weeks putting course. We'll have at least 4 baskets each week and several distances and obstacles at each basket. Points will be awarded for each putt you make from each station at each basket. Your score for each round will count and we will track your progress each week so you can see if the practice is helping your game.

Firefly Disc Golf will be giving one entry to the Bad Monkey Open to a player in the Stadium Putting League. Particpants in the SPL will get one entry for each week they participate. The entry is transferrable so if you are unable to play in the BMO for any reason you can give that entry to another player.

kinda confused by last paragraph...ff giving 1 away per wk, or one raffle ticket per wk attended??

awesome

You get one entry in the free raffle for each week you attend. Attend all 8 weeks and you have an 8 times better chance of winning than someone that just comes one time.

We also just received a couple $20 gift certificates to give away each week from Next Adventure! So you could win back half your entry fee for the season in one night if you win a GC.

thanks steve, thants what i thought but wanted to be sure... is there enough room for one to bring a kid along if she had something to keep her busy??

Yes, there is a few couches there a guest could sit on. But if your kid is old enough to Putt, then sign em up for the league too.
