Fairmont Park Ribbon Cutting Ceremony & 2014 Ice Bowl Tournament

The Disc Fanatics of Kansas, the Manhattan area disc golf club, extends an open invitation to attend the February 22nd, Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Fairmont Park Disc Golf Course Remodel & Expansion Project.
This event will include an unveiling of the new course signage, plus recognition of course sponsors, fundraising team, course design team, and people who have worked on building the course. Last but not least, we will have a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to commemorate the event.
After the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, there will be a charity disc golf tournament to benefit the Flint Hills Bread Basket. The tournament, called an “Ice Bowl”, will be co-hosted by the Lutheran Campus Ministry at KSU and the Disc Fanatics of Kansas disc golf club. The “Ice Bowl” disc golf tournament is part of a nationwide collection of disc golf events that are held each winter with an overall mission of raising funds to fight hunger. All interested parties are welcome to participate in the tournament.
The schedule for the day’s events is as follows;
Ribbon Cutting Schedule:
10:30am – 11:30am: Meet & Greet for Sponsors, County Officials, Players, etc.
11:30am – 12:00pm: Recognition Comments & Course Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.

P.S., I realize this isn't exactly "new news"... but the above text is something I had to type up for Riley County & the Manhattan Convention & Visitors Bureau for circulation in their offices. Considering it contains a lot of good information, I thought I'd post it here verbatim.
