**OFFICIAL DISCUSSION THREAD - JERSEYS**
Here is a link to The Graphic Edge website for performance shirts: http://thegraphicedge.com/catalog/garments.asp?i=256

Some of the options I came across that I liked were (1) Cheapest Options: A4-Cooling Performance (7.99), C2 Performance (7.99), A4 Color Block Moisture Management (7.99)... (2) Stylistically: Augusta Wicking Tri-Color (19.99), Augusta Winning Streak (18.99), Augusta All-Conference (16.99), Augusta ... more

Josh Carroll   December 20, 2013 at 3:44pm

*A4 Color Block is 9.99, not 7.99

David Moreno   December 20, 2013 at 4:31pm

What happened to Paragon?

Josh Carroll   December 20, 2013 at 4:35pm

They haven't gotten back to me since my last contact with them. And since they are not a registered licensee of K-State, we would have to work through a lot of legal minutia to make it happen. The Graphic Edge is licensed with K-State and provides a lot of great options to choose from.

David Moreno   December 20, 2013 at 4:41pm

gotcha! haha, sorry, it sounds like I'm complaining about everything you have been posting, but I'm not complaining about it, I was just curious.

Travis Bailey   December 20, 2013 at 5:01pm

Well, the cheapest is best. I don't really care otherwise.

David Moreno   December 20, 2013 at 5:16pm

yeah I just vote one solid color jersey, I'm not a fan of all those fancy lines under your arms and such

Mitchell Brenn   December 20, 2013 at 6:20pm

I dont know if it is possible or not, but i really like the idea of a polo and not a t-shirt. Much more professional looking and you can always use it for other high level tournaments that require a polo.

Mitchell Brenn   December 20, 2013 at 7:04pm

Also holy crap on these prices.

Mitchell Brenn   December 20, 2013 at 9:29pm

After thinking about it though, name and number on the back of a polo might look wierd lol.

Josh Carroll   December 20, 2013 at 10:51pm

I too liked the idea of a polo, definitely would look classier. I also looked into embroidered jackets :P Might be something to look into if people would agree to pay for them out of pocket and put together an order. Were you expecting the prices to be more expensive or less expensive than they are?

Jeff Pike   December 20, 2013 at 11:07pm

Just out of pure curiosity, isn't it kind of weird to have numbers for disc golf?

Josh Carroll   December 20, 2013 at 11:15pm

It's something the NCDGC is trying to implement, especially for Nationals. DiscGolfPlanet.TV covers the event and in the past, players had to pin on a competition number (similar to track or cross country runners). So I think they're trying to get teams to put numbers on their jerseys so that it's easier to identify you as a player.

Travis Bailey   December 20, 2013 at 11:35pm

Numbers on polos aren't that bad, but I agree a dry fit would be the best idea. And solid color gets my vote. We don't want to go over the top.

Mitchell Brenn   December 21, 2013 at 11:41am

Polos are my choice, if we can get them with numbers and it not be weird. Also, I can go get a solid color polo from walmart for $8 and they want like $35 lol. Idk if it'll be possible, but there are dry fit polos too.

Josh Carroll   December 21, 2013 at 12:36pm

True, but after the cost of screen-printing you're probably still looking at a hefty price. And you've got to find someone who is licensed with K-State.

David Moreno   December 21, 2013 at 2:38pm

I vote just the cheapest one, solid purple. then you can just wear it around casually for different things, like working out or just to wear.

Jacob Patchen   December 21, 2013 at 6:44pm

I'm definitely agreeing with whatever the cheapest option is (solid color). Also I'd prefer a dry fit shirt over a polo, but if I'm out numbered then I'm not apposed to a polo.

Travis Bailey   December 23, 2013 at 3:01pm

I personally hate wearing anything buy shorts and a tee shirt when I play, so having a collar probably wouldn't be fun either. Dry fit polos are nice but are incredibly expensive. Definitely should go the cheapest route. It's dumb and a waste of club money to do anything else.

Josh Carroll   December 23, 2013 at 6:28pm

It sounds like the A4-Cooling Performance Tee is the garment of choice. Just got a quote back including the cost for personalized names and numbers. Looking at $16.49 per shirt. With a minimum order of 12, we would be about 3 shirts shirt with the 9 guys I am counting on the active roster. Should I tell him we will go ahead and order 3 additional jerseys with blank backs at the 7.99 price?

Mitchell Brenn   December 23, 2013 at 10:03pm

I deffinetly agree on being cheap. Just to make sure though, this is the only place we can order from?

Josh Carroll   December 24, 2013 at 12:17am

Not the only place. Just one of the first I had found that is reasonably priced and doesn't have a ridiculous minimum quantity. They also must be on this list of Licensees: http://www.k-state.edu/logos/lrg-current-licensees.pdf

Ben Nispel   December 27, 2013 at 6:48pm

Hey, I'll buy one!
