Well guys it looks as though Arrowhead will be dummied down to make it a pitch and putt type practice course. We can not get through to these guys that we should use all of the property at this course. Some of us joined the Castle Hayne Club to help but they do not want our help or they would have had the whole committee show up at the walk around to talk about the changes. I was told that we could not move 11 to its new spot because we could not move anything yet. Then they changed 11 and 13. Go figure. Boz and some of his friends think that we are playing golf! GOLF! Its like comparing a car to a horseless carriage. Any book written 100 years ago about any sport of the time can not apply to a game invented in the 70's. This is Disc-Golf, not golf or Frisbee golf. I have done everything possible to help make this a really good par-three beginner course. Including maps and distances of each holes. I have dealt with several people during the past year or more and since no one at the county level knows anything about disc-golf, I felt that the NHDC would be the people to get with to help solve this problem. However that is not the case. They have a few short time players, who feel as though they know something about the sport, changing things in the wrong way. What we really need now is for a group of like minded people to show up at the next meeting, scheduled for Wednesday the 4th to express how we feel and maybe we can still make a difference. They have not yet posted where the next meeting is, so keep in touch with this site and I will post the location as soon as I know. This course needs us to defend it. It can be a real disc-golf course.
