Beacon Hills Park Disc Golf Course (5959 W. Beacon Hill Blvd., Highland, UT): Revised hole layout as a result of comments from numerous players and city easing up on use of grass area. Only has four baskets, the rest are pole targets (city won't pay for anything, so everything is donated). Has some very challenging holes with a long and short option at each hole (Blue-long or Red-short tees), wide open areas, beautiful scenery. Still need to measure holes and assign pars. Any suggestions on pars would be appreciated. Print map from here or send me an email for it ([email redacted]).

I finally made I out there yesterday. Not knowing what to expect I would say that I was really impressed. I'm not a fan of object courses but because there are some baskets it didn't seem to bother me as much. If you're gonna do different pars, I would say that you should probably just do 3s from the long pads and 4s for amateur but 3s are reasonable from the long pads for even slightly experienced players and I'm not saying this as a negative thing. I thought its a fun course, pretty easy to navigate with the map that was at the beginning of the course. From 5 I tried to go high an got stuck in the thick trees. That sucked. Took me a few minutes to find it in there. When I was playing there was a kids soccer team practicing but nothing that impeded play. If there are people playing 3 and 8 (?) could be trick but give the space it seems necessary.
New distance signs for all tees (red & blue) were posted today. The city mowed the weeds down so its very easy to walk the course and with foliage off the trees its easier to find a misplaced disc.
