When there is no chance in hell a division is going to fill why not let people sign up until full? Why would someone want to pay an extra 10$ and come up a day early another 110$ for hotel just to get in ? No other tourney requires this... stupid need to go back to old format assigning poi ts to each tourney in the series and totals would decide champ..one tourney only deciding state champ is suspect at best. MDGO BLOWS good turnout in the pro grand, masters, and open.

If you dont like the way it is done attend the meetings. Put your voice in and then let the votes fall where they do. All you ever do is ****, wine and complain. I hate to go to this level but YOU BLOW !!!!!

Should the Disc Golf World Champion be crowned by points and not just a single tournament? Titles are almost always crowned using a single tournament.

The location being?....

Jamie Mosier   August 24, 2013 at 8:31pm

Exactly my point, it should be in a public place, where all are welcome...

John Minicuci   August 24, 2013 at 9:02pm

Where do you suggest Jamie?

Jamie Mosier   August 25, 2013 at 2:37am

Anywhere public...

Mark Stephens   August 25, 2013 at 10:22am

Public places are typically too loud to be able to do MDGO business. I see no reason at all to have it somewhere public. We say all the time, if people want to come to address an an issue they are welcome. You don't get a vote, but you get a voice.

John Minicuci   August 25, 2013 at 11:39am

Jamie, anywhere public does not help. We have looked into many places and the last public place we met at (in a restaurant / bar in Lansing) was not very convenient. It was too loud due to the other guests, the TV was on, and all of the tables were set in a row meaning the person on one end of the l ... more

Jamie, and whomever else is at a basic semantics and general discourse argument I do offer the guarentee that if you were to show up at the state coordinators house for a meeting, your presence would be not only accepted but welcomed. This process is not designed to alienate people or encourage spo ... more

Eric, If a tree falls in the woods and no one is there, does it make a sound?

John Minicuci   August 26, 2013 at 12:14am
