At least one curious mind would like to know what Capital City's take is on these course and what needs to be done to get them in shape like a course should be. Lot's of history behind all this and it needs to be resolved one way or another. My opinion and feel strong about this subject. Willing to discuss with anyone, anytime. Thank you, Steve.
Also could August meeting minutes please get posted in timely manner so all Capital City paid members, even those that aren't at meetings, can be kept in the loop of communication that should be in place to keep members excited and informed about club items (such as new course when other course ...

Always feel more appreciated as a member if kept informed better rhen it is at this time. Again my opinions, tried to discuss these items in past and felt shut down, so now want to know what club decisions are about all this. Thank you, steve

We have been approved for 2 new pin location( mound hole in big log pile by pin 8, tobe shared by hole 7,8,10) and B location for hole 9 to the left of current pin. And there is still the day to day of disc return picking up gabage and regular course maintenance. Having a truck and some construction exsperience would be a plus but not necessary, just a good POSITIVE attitude and willing to donate your time to the community.
As for meeting minutes: I apologize if they are not getting posted in the 'timely manner' that you would like. I don't feel like I need to explain myself to you, but in short, I am volunteering my time as secretary. In addition, I have a full-time job, as well as a life outside of the ...

I don't feel like I need to explain myself to you, but in short, I am volunteering my time as secretary. In addition, I have a full-time job, as well as a life outside of the club. Not to mention that our webmaster has a job and a life, and is not at my beck and call when I need things posted. If you would like information sooner, I suggest you come to the monthly meetings.
Barry, thank you again for stepping up and doing what you are for Cascade course, glad to have been able to help you with netting project. I like what you have planned and it will be good to see old course fixed up, hope to see it all come together. I've been very busy with other projects (Cany ...

I like what you have planned and it will be good to see old course fixed up, hope to see it all come together. I've been very busy with other projects (CanyonView course and then on to new Wheatland course with PacWest). Keep up the good work and hope you get yourself a good assistant and helpers. May see you on some of the projects depending how time allows. Steve
Kayla, regarding 'other courses are not being ignored' all I guess I can say is just take a look at them and tell me they don't need maintenance. I ask again do they have coursekeepers and if so might they be slacking slightly in task at hand. Already stated Barry doing great job at Cascade but all others need attention. For now I leave it at that.
Kayla, regarding meeting minutes, I understand about volunteering and folks having jobs and such. But for all those paid members that can't or for what ever reason do not make meetings they should not be left out of the loop. I'm sorry to say but your comment 'If you would like info ...

But for all those paid members that can't or for what ever reason do not make meetings they should not be left out of the loop. I'm sorry to say but your comment 'If you would like information sooner, I suggest you come to the monthly meetings' I find to be lacking in respect to me (and others that can't or don't make meetings) as untill recently I feel I had one of the best attendence to meetings of anyone. This is exactly what I am talking about as far as good communication to the whole group. Thanks for stepping up as secretary, but even in volunteer groups, taking on officer type positions does take extra work to do properly. I have been director of group of 250+ members with 65-70 showing to each monthly meeting. I do have past experience to speak from and we must of been doing something right as a board to grow to that size in only a few years and membership was at 100% retention rate once they bacame involved our group. Enough said for now on that subject. Thanks for letting me speak my opinion of facts as I know them. Steve

The other courses are not being ignored. We just have an awesome greenskeeper at Cascades who has asked for some additional help.
