Putting in a local plug for a couple of KDGA tournaments that I'll be participating in this coming weekend if anybody is interested. Might be the last chance to enjoy a great weekend of disc golf before the summer's over.
Saturday, August 17th - Salt City Open, Hutchinson KS, Carey Park Disc Golf Course
Sunday, August 18th - Redskin Rendezvous, Little River KS, Konen Creek Disc Golf Course
Saturday night will be a player's party/BBQ open to all players. $5 entry putting contest sponsored by Gateway Disc Sports. Bring a tent and camp out at the course for next day's Rendezvous tournament. Should be a lot of fun! If you've never played Konen Creek, it is a very unique course that poses quite a challenge! It's a must-play course IMO, it will definitely test your accuracy in a different climate. No tight threading-it-through-the-woods, but tightly mowed links-style golf is the name of the game. Going to be a fun weekend!
