You never posted a score for the 20th of June. Should've said something at the time. Also, I only use your score when you use your phone because I've seen first hand that you've messed up other people's score. Isn't it customary to verify the amount of throws after the end of each hole?
Well Steve didn't post the score that day and simply wrote down the score from my scorecard, then posted it 2 weeks later or so. Wayne left in a huff, not my problem when one does that. I tried to show the whole scorecard to find where's the error if any, but lets be real here. First of al ... more
Well Steve didn't post the score that day and simply wrote down the score from my scorecard, then posted it 2 weeks later or so. Wayne left in a huff, not my problem when one does that. I tried to show the whole scorecard to find where's the error if any, but lets be real here. First of all, it's Heritage Farm from longs! How many numbers other than majority 3's and a few 2's & one or two to three 4's. save for basket 19 which it's common to get 4-7 on that tough basket alone. Sure I've made a mistake before, but that usually happens in 4-somes or 5-somes casual rounds. Nothing's official and I'll say so if I'm not certain but majority of it is right. As for that day, no. I've been watching closely and confirming with all involved. Wayne seemed to think we've scored a circle 5 on final basket of 6, but no it's a correct circle 4 because Jim Hall made the long putt to save bogey. It's one thing to make mistakes, but to accuse me of cheating and saying bull**** is another. I've been confirming more since because I can get distracted at times, but it's still rare that I'd make mistakes that often. Most can vouch for that. We didn't win, neither did they, I just wanted the correction made, nothing else. My scorecards there to see and verify, keeping scores in one's head...how can you argue with that if one of those baskets were scored wrong mentally?! I may not communicate much, but I've tried to say sorry or my bad when I err on the score even so slightly...unlike some others I know.
I'll be glad to change the score, what is the correct score? I'm not accusing you if cheating, just pointing out that your scorekeeping, for other players has been inaccurate at times.
I know of two occassions. But pretty much most of the times during the doubles, no. Singles, maybe, only because everyone else was keeping their own scores more often than not. I know of two occassions. But pretty much most of the times during the doubles, no. Singles, maybe, only because everyone else was keeping their own scores more often than not. I just took it upon myself to try and take the score to keep track of what others are shooting. If I'm not sure what they got, I'll just ask. But to have it blatantly wrong by 3-5 throws, I highly doubt that. That what it felt like when I'm told that it's inaccurate at times. Hell I've kept score for my whole card both rounds yesterday at Whispering Falls and there was a threesome & a foursome, both were perfect when compared against the scorecards. I can just keep track of my scores only, then it's just going to open up some errors whether they're intentional or not on others part. They could be stopping to take a break for 5 minutes or so and may end up forgetting where we're at...hence the reason why it helps. The correct score was Even for us and +1 for Steve/Wayne. I resented the accusations that it was wrong that night. Had I known that I wasn't sure about some baskets, I'll own up to that but again it's not one of those nights that happened, end of story.
