This course is still under construction. Holes 1,2, 8, and 9 can be played as a mini loop, and holes 10-12 and 14-18 are open. Work needs to be done on 13 and 3-7. I will post here when the all holes are open. I had more equipment malfunctions in the week before the grand opening than I could handle. Chainsaw, weed whacker, and brush hog all broke down in the same day!! Almost killed my riding mower trying to do what I could. The holes that are open have both short and long tees marked with flags, and their are tee signs but until the tee placements are finalized, there is no distance or par on the signs. The only "blind" holes that are now open are 14 and 17, but the mowed fairways point the right direction. I don't know who posted the F- review, and I have my suspicion they were never there because I talked with everyone that I saw over the weekend and they all liked it. I expect to have more time to work on the course the week of July 29- Aug 4. Hopefully all holes will be open by then, they most certainly will before the weekend of Aug 17th, the first tournament at WHDGR. I'm letting everyone play it as is for free until the full 18 are ready. Until then, I would appreciate if others hold off on the negative comments until it is all open. Or at least leave some reasons as to why you hate it so much. Also, if you liked what is there and would like to post something positive to counteract whoever this person is, that would be good too. Those that are quick to criticize my place obviously have no idea just how much work it takes, especially when you are doing it primarily by yourself. I even gave out free minis and some free quality custom stamp discs too - this is what I get for being a nice guy, I guess.

Mean people suck, Wildman! Thanks for all you do for DG and I look forward to getting up there and admiring all your hard work. Some of us DO KNOW what it takes and obviously some do not.

I know Michael, some people just don't see the whole picture. The endless hours at meetings with the suits wondering what disc golf Still is and why I'm just not going fishing. In my mind talking a board into spending $10,000 plus is worth at least a C-. Then just because the park appears to be bigge ... more

In addition consider the designer, how much time they put into it, how much are they paid, how much time they have to put into it. Now you can grade the design. And seriously folks, are ANY of them that terrible? D-. Get real. Play awhile. Not everywhere is Hickory or Flip. Keep doing it Michael.

Cal, I would give an A+ for every course if I were grading the efforts of the individuals that got the course in. And then there are two ways to rate a course, basing the grade against all courses or rating the course based on designer limitations. I prefer to use both when thinking about a course rating. All that aside, I'm sure Wild's course is better than an F-.

It's a good idea. Rate against other courses and designer limitations.Even a few words helps to clarify their positioon. Thanks Zach, see you this weekend.
