Had a great talk with Rick at Hilltop and it was agreed that Hilltop was going to be the home course of the AODC and that we will be putting on numerous tournaments in the yrs to come. We will be active in the DG community , working with the other DG associations , clubs and city/ state govt to improve and develope existjng and future courses in Ak. This club was not formed to cause division in the DG community it was formed to fill in a much needed gap many saw forming in the DG community. members of AODC will remain active members of the ADGA and the other clubs that they join. We have a great core of people to start this new endeavor off and we welcome all who want to jump in and help us get this club going. We will be electing board members and course stewards and Rick Cramer will sit on the board as the voice of Hilltop and I will be asking Mark from Parks and Rec to sit in on meetings as the voice of the city of Anchorage . This is a big project to get off the ground but with the help of the passionate golfer in this area I can see nothing but growth and respectability of Discgolf in Alaska . Thanks Thad Murgatroyd
