Sorry to say that as of right now the course is crazy over grown and without the post. We are working this week down to cut the whole course in and put the post back in. Sorry to say that as of right now the course is crazy over grown and without the post. We are working this week down to cut the whole course in and put the post back in. We that have made it our goal to see a permanent course on the island are busy with jobs and family stuff so it's hard to make the time to be down there to get some much needed work done. Baskets are on the way and we've already done the cement work and sleeve

Not a problem, seems like a great endeavor you guys are taking on up there. I just happened to see that there was a tournament scheduled for August and was excited to see that there was another course in that hour-ish range from where I live.
I'm really excited and I know when we get the basket's in that course will be a must play especially with three tees on every hole. It's a great escape from the down town area. I've always had love for Belle Isle but being on this project has shown me how awesome the place really ... more

I've always had love for Belle Isle but being on this project has shown me how awesome the place really is and the shame that it been let go a bit. On a better note though is the fact that there grass root projects starting all the time and a lot of people who are involved in revitalizing the island. Ive had the pleasure of scoping out the whole island now and learning a lot about the history and there's a ton of that. Look forward to seeing you on the island this season. You are always welcome to come out for leagues. And join our project in any way you like. I need to do a better job at using the scene at getting others involved. Hope all's good.
