Hey....I just want to throw this out......That new format we played at Indy this past Friday was awesome. I was very, very worried walking into the round. Change is always a little scary but man, what a blast!! Everyone was paired nicely, each group was small enough to prevent slow play, and finding discs was zero issue. All three groups were close enough so we could still mess with each other. Shenanigans was in full effect for our group too, so it was a good time. The wife has been digging the past few weeks, so thanks for making her feel welcomed.

Big thanks to the council for keeping it fresh and fun. I hope you guys decide to keep that format and we keep it in rotation for future rounds.

And hey, don't forget about Ace Race you mofo's!!! Steven and Floyd were signing up Friday, so the competition is starting to warm up ;)

I am in absolute disagreement with this statement. Does not compute. Shaffer knows. The rest of council soon will.

That format worked great for our group, I'm a fan.

My only question for future rounds - The #1s from all groups should throw the same holes, yes? Like our group #1s didn't throw 1,10,13, and 16 which were difficult holes. If a group was smart they could plan based on start hole to have the #1s drive on the hardest holes. That said, my #2 and #3 were both all-stars on Friday. How did you all like #10 alt?

Mike Even   June 17, 2013 at 11:26am

#10 was a ****, but I just blame not seeing the pin right away. Our spotters were a little off with their direction. As for planning on which guys to send in the new format, we planned it perfectly actually ;)
