The status of the course is WET !!! July 4th is the target date to have the baskets in and hopefully have a dry course to play. NO MORE RAIN !!! But the good news is that 4 of the 9 new holes are cut and ready for more hands to help with brush and log removal. Anybody that might want to help is welcome, bring friends, boots, gloves, trimmers, rakes and BUG SPRAY. Thus far there have been 4 different volunteers show up and course designer Ron Peludat has plans to have ALL 9 fairways cut by this time next week (weather permitting). Please, anybody that can make a trip to help, call Ron first and make certain that it is a work day -989-876-4155. Ron's plans are to be out there working everyday possible. Be aware, because of the wet entrance area, you will need to take a 10 minute walk back to the area where the work is taking place and you'll need to haul in equipment, water and etc. You may even want to bring a sled to haul stuff in, unless you arrive with a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Some of the volunteers do have 4 wheel drive so when they are there, you'll have a ride in and out for your equipment.
