Darius challenged me to a round at Cascade Twp DGC. I was pretty close for the first little bit. When my thumber drive on 7 led to a make-able duece, I thought I would be able to run away with it. Then the wind caught my drive on 8 and tossed it across the trail which left me scrambling for a bogey. Consistency through the rest of the round paid off and I took a 5 shot lead going into 16. When Darius put his first drive OB and second about 20" up a tree, we decided that upon retrieval of the disc we would call it.
Bowser remains in my bag waiting for the next challenge.
I'll be out of town this weekend but look forward to a couple rounds next week.
