Next Tuesday - 3/19/2013 - the Original Ypsi Dubs Tuesday Summer 2013 Season begins

20 Week Season - Top 16 Rounds are kept for point total.

Discraft Michigan State Championships Berths will be awarded to the top two players who do not already have berths. At least one berth will go to the women player with the highest point total between this league and the Ypsi Dubs Church league, that does not already have a berth.
One of the great things about the summer leagues is that we wrap up a month before the State Championships and award these remaining berths. This means that many of the players who have played winter leagues and tournaments already have their berths so I get the pleasure to award many berths to the dedicated Am players who have been working and playing hard all summer and may not be at the top of the leaderboard but that are very deserving of the opportunity to go to the State Championships and represent in their divisions and experience one of the great statewide disc golf events. This is a Great event that the MDGO organizes with the help of many clubs and players statewide and Discraft is sponsoring again this year.

Note the start time will be 5:15 next week and every two weeks it will get later by 15 minutes as the sun stays out and the park stays open, eventually getting to a 6:00 start time. It is important that we start on time as the park does close at sunset. If you can't make the first few weeks not to worry we only count your best 16 weeks of the 20 week season.

We look forward to seeing the summer regular crew/family again, along with all those crazy enough to play all year and a bunch of new faces. The more the merrier so bring a friend, share the fun and enjoy the warmer weather.
