Approval for a third course

For all that wasn't at the 16th Annual Ice Bowl yesterday in Huntington, Johnny Sias has hit us with some big news for Rotary Park and the Huntington DGC. We were approved to put another 18 holes at Rotary Park. This means we will be one of only two or three other places in the country to have three full 18 hole courses on one property. This is a big step for West Virginia disc golf and the Huntington DGC. The park agreed to pay half of the cost for the course as long as the club pays the rest. We were so thankful for the sponsors of some of the new holes yesterday at the Ice Bowl especially to Ken Rollins who sponsored one hole from his own pocket and one from modgc the club that he runs also Johnny Sias who is sponsoring one out of his pocket. The Huntington DGC is buying one and will be having some little fundraisers to get the money for the rest and I also think Lancaster DGC offered to sponsor a hole so there isn't that many to go to have this payed for and ready to start work on. If anyone would like to sponsor a hole let me know, the cost to sponsor a hole is $450 that covers the basket and 2 teepads and signs with your name on them, the complete hole. This is a big step for West Virgina disc golf.
Thank You
VP Thomas Kirwan and the Huntington DGC
