We are going to have 2 course clean up days on 26 May, and 2 June in preparation for the 2012 Riverpark Open on June 9th and 10th. Come on out and lend a hand. We need all the help we can get. We are going to take care of the weeds, fix tee pads and just clean up in general. Bring whatever tools you may have. If you have a truck to haul Chips, and dirt bring it too. If you don’t have any tools or a truck, come out and help anyway. Hopefully the city will mow the big areas again. Mark your calendars and let the folks know that don’t get on the scene. I’m going to post some signs at the course too.
The work day aren’t for a while, but if you have a weed eater or something to cut weeds feel free to go on out and get er done. Hole one mounds are getting pretty tall already. The mounds on the way to long 18 need some work too. Someone can do hole 4 fairway to the long position too. Well you know where to go. Please don’t do any clearing on holes 12 thru 14 though. That is a sensitive area, as I have said for several years. Just a reminder. We are going to do some in that area but we can’t go nuts. PLEASE NO CHAIN SAWS anywhere on the course!!!!! If we let folks go out with chain saws, pretty soon we won’t have any trees left.
