On Thursday, July 29, 2010, the Whitehall Disc Golf Club will be organizing a work "party" at the course. There will be a few people out there most of the day, but the official start time will be at 6:00 (feel free to stop out whenever it is most convenient for you). We will provide food and beverage to those who participate. Most of the stuff we are doing is easy, and can be easier with more people helping out.... There will be 1 or more tractors to help will projects (Thanks to Jim Scane and Andy Delong). We may even have a surprise visit from one or more of the Whitehall Township Board members at my request.
On the agenda:
Finish steps to pavilion area
Install practice baskets (4)
Install another gate and move RR ties to new pad on #8
Work on new pad on #8 (majority of time will be spent here)
minor cutting and trimming on D9 and D5
Move large bench up to D1
Install bench on #10 and D8
Move rocks
Pick up garbage and brush
This is just a wish list and we don't expect to get everything done, although that would be cool. Thanks in advance to those who can help out. Call me with questions or concerns.
