To those of you that have been coming out to Wednesday Night Dubs Glow Edition:
When I arrived to the 1st glow league of the season I laughed at all the different setups going on. Some had the fishing bobber lights, some went to Radio Shack and got their discs rigged up that way. Others had pierced holes in their discs to fix a light to it. All the different setups worked. If you saw the kind of light I'm rocking, this message is for you. I now know where to buy those online now. I sent an email to see how much they'd be if I purchased them in bulk and they're $1.50 each for a set of 50 or $1.35 each for 100 or more. The reason these lights are money is because they can be turned on and off after EVERY throw. I realize the fishing lights can too but then you gotta set them up a certain way to have the head of the light exposed. With my lights you just press a button and you're done. These lights come in many different colors, have 3 different settings (slow strobe, fast strobe and steady) and last up to 12 hours. Before I drop some money on these I'd like to have an idea as to how many we should get and not be stuck with years worth of lights. I believe if we went this route we'd all save money in the long run. Brad has been spending his own money on providing us lights and only charging half the cost to the players (therefore eating the difference). This could be the way to go. Please let me know if this is something you'd like to buy into. The sooner the better so we can have them by Wednesday the 31st (assuming we have a league that day).
