Warner Park Project Update.

As you may already know, a presentation was given to the City of Manhattan Parks & Recreation Advisory Board (Nov. 5th) regarding adding onto the existing 9 hole Warner Park Disc Golf Course to make it an 18 hole course. It was a great presentation and was well received by the Parks Board. Due to time restraints, the subject was tabled until this Monday’s December meeting (Dec. 3rd).

The strong showing of disc golf supporters at the November meeting certainly made an impact. As an example, the board chairperson welcomed us while smiling and saying “We have a large audience today. More than I think I have ever seen here. I understand it has to do with disc golf.” With that in mind, it would be wise to once again have a strong showing at the next meeting. It would be even better if we could have MORE in attendance than last month. Please attend if you can.

Here’s the Meeting Details:

WHAT: A meeting at City Hall about disc golf.

WHEN: Monday, December 3rd. 4:30pm Start time. However, feel free to slip in the back a little late if needed.
