The city of Cascade Locks has given the final approval for an 18 hole disc golf course in their Industial park.Starting this weekend, 6/23&6/24, we will begin clearing fairways, mostly consisting of thick ground cover to small weed trees, and are in need of a few volunteers w/ tools. Camping on site is free, so if your available both days .... Camping is primitive, however, KOA is just 3/4 of a mile from site, w/ restrooms and showers. We will start work at 9am, and work till 3pm both days. Afterwards we will bus over to N. Bonn. for a round of disc golf. Upcoming dates for future work partys- Sun.July 9th, Sat. July 14th, Sun. July 22nd, Sat. july 28th, and another two day work party Aug. 11th&12th. Please call if planning to attend, and again we are in need of tools necessary tools for clearing brush.
