Here is the discussion and vote from Sunday. We had 11 people show and 2 people vote by proxy. Discussion was we need to replace absent board members with active ASAP. A board member that represents a certain division shall be appointed by the division members by vote. He or she shall vote with the majority of his division by SPEAKING to them and getting their thoughts. (We have been lax in this.) That board member will be the one to fill the signup sheet with the scores for that day. Any cheating will not be tolerated and was suggested that anyone caught cheating be removed from the club immediately and also was suggested to give a 1 time warning first. This matter is passed on to the board for further review. Brian Williams will run the score cars at the start of the day and determine who plays with who. It was voted unanimous to fill the cards in the following manor; Weeks 1 thru 3 Advanced, Intermediate, and Novice will be on the same card if there are enough in each division. Weeks 4 thru 8 Novice play their own card, Advanced and Intermediate will be mixed on a card. Weeks 9 thru 12 all divisions will play on their own cards top players together and so on in order of ranking. The top players overall each week will go on a card in the 1st position by order of best score from the previous week and will choose in order what hole their card starts. The card will then be filled by Brian with the above mentioned mix.(Thank you Jack Haven and Brian Williams). A suggestion box will be made and brought to the weekly signups and any suggestions will be reviewed by the board and considered for the next season.( Thank you Justin McCall) If a division rep is moved up he will be replaced by a vote from the division he left. No existing rules will be altered during league play. It was also voted 10 to 1 to allow 4 pre plays in a season and not to limit misses no penalties other than the default score for that division and that the top worst 2 scores will be removed at the end of the season. Also by a vote of 10 to 1 the “End of Year” payout will change so that ALL players that have a minimum of 10 weeks in the league will receive a disc of their choice. The top 3 winners of each division will receive an additional disc. Plus the “ League Champion” bag markers now in use. Any balance of monies will go to the club general fund. The vote on the service road was; 1 to make it OB for just the Advanced players, 2 to keep it OB and 9 to return to not being OB. A paint line will be made near Williams Ave to define that line. ONLY the service road area is not OB now, the other connecter road IS OB. There is NO relief from the building nor the gravel pile or any other obstacle in this area as in regular play. Everyone that is to play on Sundays is asked to arrive no later 5 minutes prior to the start so Brian can get the cards set up. Thank You ALL.
