If you are looking fo something to do this Saturday ABDG has offered to help with a work party at Leverich Park this Saturday to get things ready for the busy season ahead.
The plan is 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Bring gloves, rakes, shovels, trimming tools, etc.
The goal is to pick up every speck of trash, any downed branches to be moved off fairways, spread bark chips in key areas, repaint tee lines on holes 6, 10, and 11 and clear bamboo to make room for an alternate pin location on hole 4. Tee sign repair, adding hooks on signs and new caps. Also graffiti removal from baskets and/or signs.
If we have enough volunteers, time and materials we would also like to terrace the fairway going up hole 11.
Open to players suggestions on any other changes.
Also, if we have a pickup or two it would be great to have them running out to get chips for people.
There will be a doubles round after the park cleanup.
Come out and give back to a great disc golf park, a couple hours can go a long way..
