As many of you know, the second course called Deer Ridge has fallen through do to the state permits for the holding tanks etc. We were planning on some nice updates to the current course for 2011 such as third basket locations and second teeboxes, however we may put that on hold for a new second course.
We are in the early stages of course design and fundraising and have to submit the formal proposal to the parks department. They seem to be excited and will help with the approval process.
We are reaching out to the Funkytown Flyers for course improvement funds to match our current funds which hopefully will put us within two or three thousand dollars of our goal. If you, or anyone you know, can help with sponsorship, please contact me to discuss how you can help.
