No treasurer report.
New Course - Stinky Hills - A possible layout of some fairways have been laid out. There are many blackberry vines that need to be dealt with. A fence also needs to be moved.
Clubs Discs: $800 of discs was bought from Disc Golf Depot. Initial inventory is mostly drivers. Discs for sale will be advertised on course kiosks and the internet.
Keizer Tee Pad Project – John Johnson will call Advantage Precast to check on the schedule to build the tee pads. A motion was made and 2nd to provide $500 to buy aggregate for the project. The club’s financial position could not support this.
Falling Leaves Fundraiser tournament is this Sunday, 16 October at Jerry Miller DGC, Camp Taloali.
Frosty Ironman Tournament is 11 Dec 2011. Custom disc ordering was discussed, and the clubs financial position will not allow us to order them this year.
Rivals Club League Meeting has been moved to the Corvallis to increase attendance because the Hope Open is scheduled the same day. The meeting will take place after the Hope Open; John Johnson is in charge of this.
Kiosk info box for Woodmansee - David Coons is working on this project. He will provide plans, material list, and prices to the club.
Woodmansee Work Party – Scheduled for 14 and 21 October at 1 p.m. Tee pads and Tee Signs will be worked on. John Johnson will make new top plates for the signs.
The Bad Ace Series will conflict with the regular Saturday Doubles events because Rich Ayers and many of the regular Double players will be playing Bad Ace. Members need to know this, and be willing to step and run Doubles if they want to play it.
John Johnson presented an idea from Bill Harpster for a new tournament. “Drive for Show or Putt for Dough.” This could be put on near the end of March or in April 2012.
