Puyallup/South Hill has launched it's official stakehold in establishing a formidable club with a primary focus on developing disc golf interest and a difinitive awareness campaign for 2011. The goals of the club are to invite memebrs to join and participate in the clubs county, state and national events to bring more awareness and opportunity locally for more youth and adults to become familiar with this great and growing sport.
The clubs first goal is to establish a membership of 100 players in the first two years for the Puyallup/South Hill area and begin meetings and masterminds along with a robust agenda of networking and collaborating efforts with local businesses and sports/health organizations. The next goal is to establish a successful fundrasing effort to provide the necessary funds to open two 18 hole parks in 2011. One on an established/exisiting county park property. The other to be the first private/public Disc Golf Club capable of hosting top rated professional disc golf competitive tournaments, skills challenges, invitational and sponsored course/club events.
