2012 Wednesday Weeklies - Fall Session - New Berlin, WI   August 22, 2012 at 11:40pm

Birdies and scores are ready to FALL!

It's been an amazing year and we still have 10 weeks of the Valley View League remaining!

We saw some fresh new faces in new divisions to start this season and sure enough, Dustin and Lee made good as they battled it out for the Open win this week. Dustin edged Lee out for the night and I look forward to welcoming the division leap-frogging JD Cottrill to the Open division as well. I was at the Vibram Open last week but you better believe me and my fresh poison ivy rash are coming with a vengeance this week.

Dustin Falkenberg showed up and did it in fashion by recording one of his personal best rounds of -10. Gary to the O was a few off Dustin's pace but I think this will be the most contested division of the league.

Mike Sakfkjieeipqawckiowliaeqciicz also had one of his personal best rounds at Valley View and was able shoot -6 and take an early lead in the Advanced division. Great shooting Mike! Billy Barnes was our only Amateur but hopefully he can round up some buddies to come out and compete with each week. Maybe we'll come up with some 'bring a new person' incentives this week!

Cole's +15 in the Junior division gives him an early lead and Danielle Kassow makes a return after a long absence and tied veteran, Loriena Harrington. Those 2 will have to play off for the single point. A single point may not seem like that much but with such small fields they will prove to be critical as the season wears on.

No ace was hit bringing the ace pool to $30. Who is going to hit it tonight? I think someone will and then they can buy Mike Harrington a beer at BW3's because he stepped up to help run the leagues in my absence last week :)
