MaT brought his ‘A’ game this afternoon and crushed the season best round record with a stellar -16 to beat the previous -15 as shared by Sammy and Robby. An additional fourteen, a thirteen, a couple of elevens, a nine and an eight rounded out the good showing for seven players. Both MaT and Wayne hit their season’s best tonight as the group moves closer to the first Surgeon’s Cup rounds!
A few medallions were tagged this night picked up by MaT with an Automobile ‘glance’ on 12 while Travis added to his medallion lead by picking up both an Automobile Association on 5 and a Postal Service on 12.
Wayne hit his second Ace in a row on 18 collecting another pool of $5.
It was tabled, seconded and approved to weight the point structure for the Surgeon’s Cup Rounds on June 20 and June 27.
Therefore, if there are 8 players for the first round, the points will be doubled to 16 points applied to the first place finisher, 14 for the second, 12 for third and so forth. The second round will be scored the same way.
Then, both rounds will be compiled and if a player, by virtue of both his first and second round stroke scores finishes in first place; he will be awarded an additional 16 points for the combined first place finish. The combined second place finisher will receive an additional 14 points and so on down the line.
This system will allow the two round finishers for the Cup rounds to enjoy the added incentive of a weighted points system for their League Overall standing.
Based on tonight’s participation, the league All Player Average Rounds (APAR) remains at 6.
