On to the summer leagues. I sure hope we keep seeing all of you come out each week . . . and hopefully you bring some friends out too.
Congratulations to our Division Winners Terry Miller, Brian Moser, Jeremy Morgan, Jacob Klug, and Lori Locke, and to our mulligan raffle winners including Gary Obernbeger who won the Innova traveler basket! Go practice putting Gary, Semi-Pro is gonna challenge you in the summer season.
There will be a handful of people moved up a division for the summer season because their scores indicated a talent more suitable for a higher division. Please realize this is only to protect the intention of these leagues. We want everyone to have fun and enjoy themselves and noone has earned the right to completely dominate a division. We are not accusing you of intentionally sandbagging (well most of you at least), just that your game improved dramatically during the season. We let some people stay the entire season because there were divisional implications that we didn't want to impact.
We also do hope to establish another 4th division which would be people who generally shoot above par or right around par. Advanced will remain Even to -4, Semi-Pro will remain -5 to -8, and Open will be anyone who wants to pay for cash or is averaging around -8 or better. If you are under the average but dominated this season and won money nearly every week, please expect to be moved up. We hope this doesn't discourage anyone from not coming, but if you are only coming to league to win funny money, you are not seeing the bigger picture.
