Eight players came out on a warm muggy evening to tee it up for Round 10 of the NFGA’s 2011 season. MaT continued his form to take the round while Sammy maintained enough ‘strokage’ to stay on top of the Overall standings with a three stroke lead over MaT. The league is tight and it is expected that most rounds from here on out will offer the opportunity for some place changes.
Dates were discussed for the summer Surgeon’s Cup rounds and being considered are Wednesday, June 22 and Saturday, June 25. Please check your calendars and clear those dates if you want to be part of this magnificent event!
As most of you know, the cup is handsomely displayed on the second and third fairways during regular play and is available for closer inspection with prior permission. Should you want to take a closer view of the cup, please advise the current cup holder of your intentions.
