Leauge Rules

Ber Juan Park Disc Golf
General Competition Rules for Organized Events

General Rules
All Ber Juan singles events will be played using PDGA rules. Any exceptions to those rules will be outlined in the players meeting prior to the event. The rules of disc golf can be found online at: http://www.pdga.com/rules

Rulings will be decided by group decision. If the group cannot reach a decision, the effected player or team should declare provisional throws and complete the hole using both lies. The Tournament Director will determine which score should stand at the completion of the round.

Doubles events using Best Shot rules will be played using the following:
• Both players throw from each lie (starting with the tee shot), then the team chooses which of the resulting lies to continue play from, until the hole is completed.
• Players who do not have a partner can play using California (Cali) rules. That player can take one additional shot during each hole.

League Rules
League winners are determined using the best seven out of eight scores in an eight week league or best eight out of ten scores in a ten week league. Scores that are not used are considered “drop weeks.”

If a team does not appear for a scheduled league night, they will receive a score of 90.

If one members of a team cannot make a scheduled league, one member of the team can play “Cali” rules or a substitute can be used for the missing player. If both players cannot make a scheduled league night, the team will receive a score of 90.

Approved Discs
All Ber Juan events are restricted to PDGA legal discs only. A list of approved disc can be found online at http://www.pdga.com/tech-standards
