Monday Night Leagues has an Ace Pool building rapidly standing at $179.00 for next week. Any new players that show up will need to pay $15.00 to buy into this season of Ace Pool in addition to the normal $2.00 fee.
The Saturday Cheese Town Challenge was a HUGE success. Kevin Sauve and Devin Myers were victorious over the large and tough field. Kevin made two grills full of venison burgers and beer brats that were reported to be "the best brats that ever passed by this tongue" A HUGE THANKS TO ALL THAT HELPED OUT - and for those of you that went to Disc Girls Gone Wild - what ? why ? you picked a full field of attractive lady disc golfers to help instead of the needy Blizzard Hills group ? what, you've got something against beer brats or venison burgers ?
oh yes, the big news was that Roger Myers and grandson Devin Myers spent the week preparing a float for the parade and the end result was a Third Place recognition for the float and their efforts. Roger and Meylynne promoted the sport and course from the cab of Rog's truck while Devin followed the float tossing discs into a basket surrounded by trees, branches and vines - just like the fairways at Blizzard Hills. When Devin wasn't tossing at the basket he was throwing mini and full size Flying Discs to the crowd of spectators. Special thanks to our diplomat Devin, along with the same to grandma and grandpa
