Today was our best turnout ever! 13 people showed up to play today. Thank you Jeff Sanchez and Josh Desper for coming play with us from Bridge City Texas. First time Warriors Matt Maddox, Kevin "Gilligan Richard, Evans Cormier and Trevor Thomas showed up today. Todays format was weighted card Match Play Skins. We had 4 cards in play.
On card A, We had Kevin "Gilligan" Richard come in first with a stroke score of 59 and 9 skins winning himself a FLX Drone. Following him was Matt Maddox (60 - 7), his personal PA Davis best, Tyson Richard (58 - 1), his personal PA Davis best and he also took home a $25 gist card to Agave' Restaurant for a CTP on hole 17. David Fifita (61 - 1).
Card B was won by Clint Etie with 77 strakes but 10 skins. Clint won a Pro D Magnet putter. This was Clint's first win, congrats Clint! He was followed by Evans Cormier (71 - 5) and Edgar Cormier (67 - 3).
Card C was taken by Bobby LeJeune with 62 strokes and 14 skins after a 13 hole skins tie! He won a Prototype Valk today. He was followed by Jeff Sanchez (64 - 4) and Josh Desper (69 - 0).
Card D was won by first timer Trevor Thomas with 72 strokes and 12 skins to take home a Soft Challenger. Behind Trevor was Cody Thomas (72 - 4) and Jason Cabrol (71 - 2)
Special Thanks today goes out to Ski for filming our game and Bwana Bob for donating a Prototype Valk! Very special thanks to Josh LeMaire of JL Electric for donating some money to us for our shirts. Thanks Josh! We appreciate you guys. Today was a great turnout and I hope we keep growing. I have 15 shirts being printed right now that should be on their way soon. Financialy we are doing fine, we aren't losing any many and are affording the prizes we are giving based on entry fees just as planned. I see a few players who are just starting out that are progressing very well as we go. We have 2 weeks left of regular events in this season before the Finals game. I'm trying to save soem money in the club to help buy some really good prizes for that day. Also don't forget about our weekday Challenge on tuesday at 5:00 in Girard Park. Basket to Basket Safari to help raise money for the Thibodeaux Family. Thanks to everyone, spread the word and have a great week.
