Today was our final regular league day. We had 2 new members join today, thank you to Mike Melancon and Ethan David. Welcome to Flight Club. Todat our format was Skins MAtch Play and we had 8 people to split into 2 cards. We also had a CTP on hole #16.
Card A: Tyson Won 1st with 10 Skins after a 13 hole playoff for 10 skins and donated his disc back to the club. He ended the round with 69 strokes. Second was David Fifita (59 - 5) Third Matt Maddox (65 - 3) and Jason Cabrol (68 - 0). Congrats to Matt Maddox again on his CTP on hole 16 for yet another $25 Agave' gift card.
Card B: New member Mike Melancon won his card with 72 strokes and 8 Skins and walked away with a Pro-D Startus. Congrats to Mike and Thanks for joining us. Second place was new member Ethan David (75 - 5) Third was Clint Etie (73 - 2) followed by Fuco Adams (76 - 1).
Thanks to everyone for showing up today. It was a great match and great match-ups. We will be having our finals mini tourny on June 26th. THere is a tourny near Baton Rouge next weekend and we encourage everyone to attend if possible. Keep and eye on the website calendar to keep up with our events as well as others in the area. Also, we will soon have a survey on the website asking questions about variouse aspects of our first league in order to make our 2nd season even better than the first. I also plan to post an active accounting of the club bank account on the website as well as some sort of scoring history for players including player current handicaps. Also very special thanks goes to Bwana Bob for donating a Glo Roc with his upcoming tourny stamp. Thank you very much Bob and we wish you would join us on the field sometime.
