With the sun beating down @ over 90 degrees the players gathered around the first tee. Several new faces were seen and several familiar ones as well. Chris opens the evening with a park job on #1, taking another early lead. Ronnie, not to be outshined, scores five birds in a row on the first pass; tying him after 9 holes with Ryan @ 6 under. Chris and Steve were running close together after 9 and both players even scored 5's on #1 the 2nd time around. Sitting at -2, Chris then refocused and finished @ -7. Steve and Eli were a hair off the pace at 5 and 3 down. Ryan was feeling the heat after Ronnie slams home an Ace on #4, putting him at 9 down! Ryan somehow catches and passes Ronnie as both players report their best scores ever @ the UNC course. Hopefully this is a precursor to this Saturday's event, back @ UNC.
