if your going to get a non "craft beer" I think Chris has a good point going with cans. I remember at DGLO last year the Bud Light was the last to go if at all. But the famous Todd White home brew (Sierra Nevada clone) was strictly rationed and still went quick. As a matter of fact that clone was so good it inspired me to be a home brewer myself. Disc gofers love there craft beer and for the few that do not get them a couple cases and the will be happy :) There are 82 twelve ounce beers in a 1/4 barrel that's a little over 3 cases of beer (3.42 to be exact) buying by the case will count for less waste and more variety so you can have bud Light & PBR ( why you would want it is a different story). there is my two cents hope it helps.
