The 'point' is to play. If you are playing weekly with your regular group of friends are you suggesting that only two of those rounds a month be for tags? That seems like it would be counter productive to the spirit of the bag tag league which is to play disc. I for one have made it a point to play in at least one of the two leagues a week where everyone throws their tags in. This is an easy way to 'get out there' and play. I do not think that putting any kind of limits or restrictions on how many times you can play for tags will help bolster new competition or force people to play against new opponents. It will simply make people play less.
