This morning I shipped off 9 boxes to the 541st F.S.T.!! Added to the two boxes that were sent 10 days ago, a total of 11 boxes of donations to the 541st. Included was a huge picture of the DGOD Crew from the CHRISTMAS FROM HOME Tourney!! Thanks to The Epkers, Dan Brown and to Kevin Davis for the awesome photo, the greetings on the picture and the size of the photo. We had a last minute donation of socks that will give each member of the 541st two pairs of comfy cotton socks!! I requested Delivery Confirmation so I will post when the packages are signed for and delivered. I have to say THANK YOU to DGOD and the disc golf community that rallied behind this project. Dan Brown..you are a Champion among men!! Vince and Kandi Epker for jumping onboard as they always do. The photo was great, Miss Kandi!! Kevin Davis for being the single largest contributor to the drive. Donations of items, cash and making several enlargements to the photo I sent. Thank you to the Saturday Oregon Team Disc Golfers who made donations at a soggy, wet Milo morning. I apologize for monopolizing the Newsfeed over the past few weeks. This project was very important to Bill Harpster and his son, Ryan, The Members of the 541st FORWARD SURGICAL TEAM and especially to myself. Then I found out that it was important to many, many people who embraced the 541st F.S.T with their prayers, thier love and thier generous giving. Somewhere in Afghanistan, there will be a Very Merry Christmas for 20 U.S.Troops who won't be home for the holidays. Please keep these brave men and women in your prayers, your thoughts and in your hearts until they can come HOME. Thank you everybody!!!!!!
