In order to keep this on peoples news feed, I'm going to re-post Rick's comments. It has drifted down on mine and this is NEXT MONDAY!

Come show your support for 9 more holes at the Warner Park Course.
Do you support building 9 more holes, also known as Phase II, at Manhattan's Warner Park disc golf course? If your answer is YES, keep reading.

If you want to help, please consider showing your support for Phase II by attending Monday's City of Manhattan Parks & Recreation Advisory Board meeting. You will not be required to speak. However, by simply being in attendance you will send a clear message that you support this project (because very few people typically attend these monthly meetings).

Here's the Meeting Details.
WHO: Anyone who supports disc golf. In other words, all disc golfers, plus friends & family of disc golfers should attend.
WHAT: A presentation to the Board about Warner Park's disc golf history, information about it's current use, and of course requesting to move forward with Phase II of the project.
WHEN: Monday, November 5th at 4:30pm.
WHERE: 1101 Poyntz Avenue, in the City Hall City Commission Room (west side of building).

Can't make it to the meeting? Have you ever taken time off work, skipped class, etc. to go play disc golf? If so, maybe you can also find a way to attend this meeting...

Are you still sure you can't attend the meeting? Okay. You can still help the cause by signing our club Letter of Support for Phase II of the Warner Park disc golf course. This letter will be submitted to the City of Manhattan at the above described meeting. (f.y.i. we currently have approx. 120 signatures). In order to find a time to sign the Letter of Support, send a note to me ( at http://www.discgolfscene.com/profile/1365 ) so we can make arrangements to meet.

I look forward to seeing all of you at the Nov. 5th meeting.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerly,
Rick Petrie
